 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. After moving to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actor for children. Her fame was boosted by her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until in 2020. Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she appeared in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub, who was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub, a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Because of financial struggles in the family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school following her sophomore year.
